AYUBOWAN (LONG LIFE TO YOU) . . .
Café Ceylon welcomes you. May your dining
experience be joyous.
Our chef, Tamara Bailey, a native of Sri Lanka uses the principles of Ayurveda in her cooking which gives the food
she prepares a balanced and harmonious taste. Wherever possible we use organic ingredients.
Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that means "The science of life." It originated in India some five thousand years ago and spread to nearby Sri Lanka and numerous other Asian countries over time.

This serene 40-seat restaurant, decorated with Sri Lankan art and artifacts, is filled to capacity for lunch and dinner with happy diners partaking of the generous portions of extraordinary food that is offered daily. The menu includes a medley of seafood, chicken, beef and vegetarian dishes influenced by Sri Lankan, Thai, Malaysian, East Indian and other Asian countries.
Café Ceylon prides itself on the dining and guest experience. The owners maintain an exceptional staff whose attentive service draws as many compliments as does the selection of fine food that they bring to your table.

Reviews
"Heaven, Nirvana, Zen . . ."
". . . Lightly cooked green bean and onion temperadu was laced with ribbons of carrot, and I was delighted to have more spinach and lentil dahl. Heaven, Nirvana, Zen - call it what you like."

"Finding Nirvana . . ."
"Inspiring is too small a word to use to describe Tamara Bailey, her Ayurvedic cooking techniques
and the sublime taste of her creations."
"Café Ceylon is the culmination of Bailey's lifelong dream. "I am meant to do this," she says. "'When I am in my restaurant I feel like I am in Nirvana.'"
